Seed Grant: applications now accepted year round!
You can now apply for a Seed Grant any time of the year, you don’t need to wait for our annual grant intake.
An FWCP Seed Grant—up to a maximum of $5,000—can be used to fill information gaps, prepare technical information, and explore the feasibility of your project idea. Think of a Seed Grant as a first step toward a future Large Grant application.
What projects are eligible?

How do I apply?
Start by completing this short Seed Grant introduction form and submitting it to our Coastal, Columbia or Peace Region manager.
If you’re not sure which region manager to contact, see our Coastal Region, Columbia Region, and Peace Region maps to identify where your proposed project would occur and contact that region manager.
The region manager will follow up with you to discuss your Seed Grant project idea and confirm next steps and timelines.
After you speak to a region manager, you may be asked to complete a Seed Grant application in our online grant management system so the FWCP team and regional board can review your application. After the board reviews your application, you will receive a notification letter identifying the board’s decision and outlining next steps, if approved.
When do I apply?
Our Coastal, Columbia and Peace Region boards will review and approve Seed Grant applications throughout the year until all the funding is allocated—so don’t wait. Apply early.
