Andy Johnson: new public member for our Peace Region board
Andy Johnson—from Montney, just north of Fort St. John—is the newest public member of our Peace Region board.
Andy grew up in coastal B.C. but has lived in the North Peace for the last 30 years. In the late 1980s he flew into the Muskwa River and knew at that point that he would pick up and move north after falling in love with the abundant wildlife and wild places. Andy went on to act as the co-chair of the Fort St. John Land and Resource Management Plan.
Andy currently raises a few horses on his farm and spends as much time as possible traversing the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area on horseback. He sees the FWCP as a way to help ensure our fish and wildlife resources are abundant for the next generation. Andy is looking forward to working with our Peace Region board.
