Riparian and Wetland Prioritization in Puntledge Watershed

This project will use science-based methods and local knowledge to identify and describe the current abundance, distribution and condition of wetlands and riparian areas in the Puntledge River Watershed, with the objective of identifying high conservation priorities. This project is led by a local conservancy in partnership with local First Nations, consultants and charities to guide selection of wetland and riparian habitat conservation while considering securement, enhancement, and restoration projects.
