Get ready for Toadfest 2024: coming this July!
Save the date for Toadfest at Summit Lake Provincial Park near Nakusp:
Tuesday, July 30, 4 – 7 p.m. PT
Wednesday, July 31, 9 a.m. – noon PT
Learn more about western toads and other species that call the region home at this free and fun family event.
Toadfest is organized by the Fish & Wildlife Compensation (FWCP), with support from the Ministry of Water, Land, and Resource Stewardship, BC Parks, and the Okanagan Nation Alliance. Thanks also to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and YRB Kootenay.

Toadfest 2022
At Toadfest 2022, we celebrated the opening of a new toad tunnel under the highway, funded by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. Check out some of the photos here.
