Adding nutrients to the Puntledge River Watershed
4,700 chum salmon carcasses from the Puntledge River Hatchery have been added to the upper Puntledge River Watershed with funding from the FWCP. The carcasses will introduce essential marine-derived nutrients and benefit the entire food web.
