Slither down to Critter Day!
Saturday May 12, 2018
Beaver Creek Provincial Park, Trail
1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
If you like seeing – and even touching – nature, then Critter Day is for you. Come learn about all the special critters that call the Trail area, and Pend d’Oreille Valley, home. Find out more about projects funded by FWCP to support these critters and more.
Get up close to some local amphibians, snakes, reptiles, aquatic bugs, native plants, insects and more. See the juvenile White Sturgeon released into the Columbia River! There will even be two special guests: a Great Horned Owl and a Gyr-Peregrine Falcon.
Enjoy the kids’ activities at this free fun family event. Bring your nature questions and talk with the biologists.
