Coastal Public Representative Wanted
We’re looking for a new public representative to join our Coastal Region Board. You should bring a regional perspective, familiarity with wildlife, fish, and environmental issues, excellent communication skills, and be able to make a three-year commitment starting in April 2018.
As a member of our Board, you will review and approve proposed fish and wildlife projects, and join other Board members in guiding the work of the Fish & Wildlife Compensation Program in our Coastal Region’s 14 watersheds. To balance involvement across the Coastal Region, consideration will be given to those with knowledge of our watersheds in the Lower Mainland area (i.e. Cheakamus, Coquitlam, Alouette, Stave, Wahleach and Clowhom), and the Shuswap watershed.
Contact our Coastal Region Manager, Julie Fournier, at Julie.Fournier@bchydro.com or 604-528-7998, for the application package, or if you have any questions. Please review the application for more information about the FWCP and the requirements for the role.
Completed application packages must be submitted by 5:00 pm (PST) March 09, 2018.
